We set a new standard in the textile industry - by giving back more resources to the environment than were needed for production.
How does this work? Our products are made from environmentally friendly and certified materials: we use reforested beech wood from Austria and rainfed organic cotton.

1. SUSTAINABLE SOURCING
SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
We use reforested beech wood from Austria and organic cotton from Tanzania. This mix of materials requires at least 90% less fresh water in the cultivation and emits at least 50% less CO2 into the atmosphere than 100% conventional cotton (Die Klimapatenschaft GmbH, MSI Higg Index).
GREEN PRODUCTION IN EUROPE
Short transportation routes and procedural improvements like heat recovery renewable energy and short dye-baths ensure a resource efficient supply chain.
2. COMPENSATING THE PRODUCTION
CLIMATE NEUTRAL PRODUCTION
We offset the emissions of the towel production with a wind-park project Gold Standard GS 854, that will replace electrical energy from fossil fuel.
CREATING FRESH BLUE-WATER
By funding rain harvesting-, filtration- and ground-water projects, we compensate the blue-water (drinking-water) consumption of the towel production.
3. CREATING NEW RESSOURCES
PLANTING TWO TREES PER TOWEL
We create new resources by planting trees. Trees store a considerable amount of carbon dioxide within their lifetime and help to cool down the planet by lowering air temperature.
